Theoretical and Practical Flow Cytometry Workshop

This training course is designed to empower specialists and experts interested in the technique of flow cytometry. Initially, the principles and fundamentals of flow cytometry and the structure of the device will be introduced, so that learners can become familiar with the main components and operation of the flow cytometer. The course will then cover proper sample preparation and antibody staining methods. Another part of the course will focus on device settings, sample reading principles, and fluorescence overlap correction. Additionally, the applications of flow cytometry in basic research, data analysis methods, gating strategies, and the interpretation of results using FlowJo for clinical diagnoses such as immunodeficiency, hematology, and transplantation will be covered.
